Tejon Street and 32nd Avenue have been adopted by HUNI for a neighborhood clean up, so various opportunities arise where you can help tidy up.
Highland Walks (WH)
This is a great way to assist in collecting data on walkability in the neighborhood and maybe helping your neighbors by fixing sidewalks
Highland Heritage Bike Ride (HHBR)
This annual 6 mile bike ride will get you out in the neighborhood and educate you on the rich history of North Denver.
Highland Moves (HM)
Work with others to ensure that effective mobility and transportation planning is taking place in the neighborhood.
Leadership Team Meetings
Join the Sustainable Highland leadership team and attend monthly meetings to find out how to implement sustainability.

JUNK MAIL AWARENESS CAMPAIGN
Five single family households collected junk mail for 30 days, including retail store-catalogs, credit card solicitations, magazine subscriptions, business flyers and grocery store coupons. All this unwanted mail weighed 33 lbs. If extrapolated beyond the initial five households to include all 4500 addresses in LoHi, that would equal approximately 29,700 lbs of junk mail every 30 days.
